Oregon Health Authority announces dates for 2015 Behavioral Health System Town Halls

Beginning this month, Sen. Sara Gelser, D-Corvallis, and OHA Director Lynne Saxton are traveling the state to hear from adolescents, adults, and families who have had difficulties accessing mental health and substance use disorder treatment in Oregon.

On September 23, the OHA will host  the first of six statewide town hall meetings for individuals and families to talk about their experiences.

A new e-newsletter from APA focuses on topics related to psychopharmacology, including reviews of medications, new therapeutic approaches, controversies and the “art” of psychopharmacology. IPS: The Mental Health Services Conference

This year’s meeting will focus on recent developments in psychiatry, clinical innovations and ways to overcome disparities in mental health care.
